Tim Fisher

Tim graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1980 with a BA in fine arts and a specialization in graphic design. His first job out of college was as an art director in the advertising department of Ivey's of Florida, a regional retail department store. While there he was responsible for photo and art direction for home and fashion catalogs, direct mail and newspaper and magazine advertising for 12 stores statewide.

He started Fisher/Robb in 1983, which was later recognized as one of the three "hot shop ad agencies" in the Southeast to watch by ADWEEK magazine. Following multiple years of highly publicized business and creative success, Fisher Robb was pursued by Minneapolis agency Carmichael Lynch, and purchased in 1989. After serving three years as Managing General Partner/Vice President Creative Services, Tim joined Anson/Stoner Advertising as Senior Vice President Creative Director. In March of 1993 he resigned and joined Fry Hammond Barr, where he now serves as Sr. Vice President-Executive Creative Director.

His list of creative awards includes numerous ADDY's, locally, regionally and nationally for print and broadcast, including multiple Best of Categories and Best of Shows. His work has been chosen for awards and inclusion in CA, Best Of Ad Age, Art Directors Annual, The Clio's, The New York Type Directors Club, New York Film Festival, the Telly's, Creativity, Show South, USAD Review, educational text books, PRINTS best of series, the Omni's and the ATHENA awards.

Tim is a frequent guest speaker at the University of Central Florida, Valencia Community College, Rollins College, the University of Florida and various ad clubs and marketing associations around the country. He is regularly called on to judge advertising shows across the country. Feature articles and showcased campaigns have appeared in the following publications: Adweek, Advertising Age, Art Direction Magazine, Print, Archive, Restaurant Review, Health Care Review, American Advertising, Backstage Shoot, Photo District News, Print Casebooks 9 Best of Advertising, CA Magazine, Creativity Magazine, US AD REVIEW. The Orlando Sentinel, The Orlando Business Journal, UCF Alumni News, Orlando Magazine, Retail AdWeek, Graphis and multiple other publications.
